Former AC Milan manager Fabio Capello expressed disappointment with Victor Osimhen’s performance in Napoli’s 3-1 defeat to Barcelona. Criticized in the Italian media for his lackluster display, the Nigeria international fell short of expectations, according to Capello.

During Sky Sport Italia’s post-match show, Capello remarked, “He was flagged offside six times in the first half and went unnoticed in the second half. It was not the same Osimhen we usually see. He struggled against Barcelona defenders and only won one aerial duel. Barcelona’s weak point was the defense, and he could not emerge.”
